The Dodos - “Undeclared”
This whole album, “Visiter”, is amazing but how I missed this tiny, beautiful gem on any of my 14000 previous listenings I have no idea.
(For some reason, in my head, the percussive beat you can hear is the drummer sitting on a large, clean, white bed beating an unused, wooden spoon on the bedknob on the end. Freud, much?)
