This article on life in Gaza and how it’s affected by military drones is fascinating and terrifying enough, but in combination with this speculative piece on local police/administrators having drone access in the US it’s even more worrying. Tazers, pepper-spray, or legal frameworks getting abused by local law enforcement is one thing, but when it’s military drone usage we’re bordering on a truly dystopian sci-fi future even for non-war-zones.
