So, basically, Jason Bourne is CRI’s Weapon X, and jumping ten stories into the East River is the former David Webb’s version of retroactively going feral and running naked with Canadian wolves. I can so get behind this. What a wonderful and strangely satisfying film. Just so very good. A confused, slightly scared woman stands in the bedroom’s doorway. Jason Bourne is stood over the bed. He unzips his suitcase. “They’ll be after you now,” he says. “You’ll need to run.” He opens a secret compartment in the bottom of the suitcase, revealing a large number of passports and stacks of American dollars. “Bu-” she begins. “Here’s $10,000 and a passport,” he says, handing them to her. He unzips another, even more secret compartment beneath the first, revealing 37 individual boxes of ladies’ hair dye. “I’m seeing you as an Auburn Winter,” he says. “But… I’m just housekeeping,” she says. “Or, wait. Maybe a Dark Forest.” “I just… came to turn over the bed,” she says. “Definitely a Dark Forest,” he says. He notices the confused, concerned look on her face, and firmly and quietly grasps shoulder. “It gets better,” he says, staring deep into her eyes. “Now. Go pre-soak. We’ll need your roots to be tender.”
