Since they don’t have a website and I can’t find any place where it’s reviewed / reviewable (suggestions, anyone?), I’m gonna post a brief review of La Bambola, a small restaurant off the Piazza di Santa Maria Novella, in the hopes that it’ll somehow serve as a warning to someone.

Terrible. Just terrible.
The steak meat was watery and tasteless, and cooked well in the center / raw on the outside. I was never actually asked how I wanted it.
The still water I ordered was given to me in the plastic bottle with no glass or even an offer of one.
The red wine was served in a dirty glass.
The bruschetta was tasteless and the toasted bread it was served on was ice-cold and dry.
The service, while friendly and quick to begin with, quickly became non-existent as soon as the place began to get busy. The chef came out to serve someone’s pizza with his thumb firmly in the dish.
The prices are on the steeper side, especially for what you’re given.
In short, if you’ve got a choice, don’t go here. Go visit Osteria del Porcellina, which has the comparable prices and far, far, far better food and service.
