As part of the build-up to the World Cup, Google has launched Street View in most of the host cities, including my home town, Port Elizabeth.
So now you can see my old high school, the house I grew up in, or the little path we’d walk down to get to a small cave where we’d get drunk when we stayed at my dad’s place.
Anyway, if you’ve ever wondered what South Africa is like, you could do worse that cruise along the beach front in street view.
